The trip will take you to the most important places in Vietnam, from Hanoi in the north, Hue and Hoi An in central Vietnam to Saigon in the south. Additionally, It also offers you opportunities to get an insight into different aspects of Vietnam, including history, culture, architecture, religion, cuisine, and local life.

DAY 1: WELCOME TO HANOI  (-/-/-)

Xin Chào! Welcome to Viet Nam!

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. You will be offered a welcome drink and a tour briefing in the hotel lobby. Check into the hotel for refreshments. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

DAY 2: AN IN-DEPTH TOUR OF HANOI CITY (B/-/-)

After breakfast, you will be taken to an in-depth tour of the most exciting sites in Hanoi. The tour includes the visits to Ho Chi Minh MausoleumBa Dinh SquareThe old residence of Ho Chi MinhOne Pillar PagodaEthnological MuseumTemple of Literature – time for breaks and food or drinks (at your own expenses) – Ngoc Son Temple – take an in-depth walking tour in Hanoi’s “Old Quarter” to get an insight of the local life and businesses before your return to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

DAY 3: HA NOI – Ha LONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON BOARD (B/L/D)

Early rise – breakfast at your hotel – today you will be driven to the countryside on the road through the paddy fields to Ha Long Bay, one of New Seven Natural Wonders. Upon arrival at the harbor, you will board a traditional boat – set sail through the limestone islands – have a nice seafood lunch – take a sampan ride to visit a traditional fishing village – return to the boat and attend a short cooking class – time to rest on the upper deck at sunset – enjoy a delicious dinner. The rest of the day is your leisure. Why not play cards, try your luck at fishing, watch movies or just enjoy some drinks and chat with your friends at the bar on board.

DAY 4: HA LONG BAY – HANOI – FLIGHT TO HUE(B/BRUNCH/-)

Up early in the morning there will a Tai Chi class on top of the deck – light breakfast – Afterwards, we will disembark for a 4-hour exploration of the cave close by. After, you will return to your boat – check out your cabins – enjoy a nice brunch while sailing back to land. On the way back (if time permits), you will visit the Ba Vang Pagoda – time for breaks and food or drinks (at your expenses) – onward travel to the airport for your short flight to Hue – Pick up and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

DAY 5:  HUE CITY TOUR(B/-/-)

After your breakfast, you will take an in-depth tour of this historical city. Today’s experiences include: Cau Ngoi Villagethe countryside marketThe Hue Old Citadel, which contains the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City – there will be time for breaks and food or drinks (at your expenses) – Furthermore, you will take a leisurely boat trip to the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – lastly,  you will be transferred by road to visit Minh Mang Tomb and returned to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure

DAY 6: HUE – HAI VAN PASS – CHAM SCULPTURE – MARBLE MOUNTAIN – HOI AN (B/-/-)

Breakfast, afterwards you will be transferred by road along the coastal highway toward Hoi An ancient town – head up the Hai Van Pass with a stop at the top of the Pass to explore old French bunkers and take in a parting view of Da Nang and the bay – onward travel downhill and then stop at Nam O Bridge & Red Beach II (where the US Marines made their famous amphibious landing 1965) – time for rest and drinks ( at your own expenses) – visit Cham Sculpture Museum – proceed to Hoi An ancient town with a visit to Marble Mountain – check in the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

DAY 7: WALKING TOUR – CRUISE TO THANH HA & KIM BONG VILLAGE (B/-/-)

Breakfast – pick up from the hotel in order to have in-depth walking tour of the most interesting sites in Hoi An, which include the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Tan Ky Ancient House, and The vibrant market – time for rest and drinks or food (at your own expenses)- Board a traditional boat for a leisurely ride along Thu Bon River – stop off at Thanh Ha Ceramic village – wander around to learn about this craft village – return to the boat and proceed to Kim Bong Carpentry village – leave your boat and stroll around for an insight into this furniture making community – float along the river towards Cua Dai before transferring back to your hotel.

DAY 8: MY SON SANCTUARY – COOKING CLASS (B/-/D)

After breakfast, you will be driven along the countryside road towards My Son Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you will be brought to the sites by an electric car– spend your time wandering around the sites for more information & photographic opportunities – enjoy a traditional show performed by Cham people – visit Cham Sculpture Museum – return to Hoi An ancient town – time for a break and drinks or food (at your expenses) – wander around the local market for an overview of the most popular ingredients used in daily Vietnamese meals – take a leisurely boat ride along the Hoi An river to a mini cooking school – learn more about the cooking herbs and vegetable garden – attend a cooking class – take part in making some typical local dishes – get to eat what you have made – return to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

DAY 9: FREE TIME AT LEISURE(B/-/-)

This day is at your leisure. You might like to wander around the streets and markets for more exploration and shopping opportunities.

DAY 10: FREE TIME AT LEISURE – FLIGHT TO SAIGON(B/-/-)

You are free until your transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight to Saigon. Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, where you will spend the night.

DAY 11: CU CHI TUNNEL – CITY TOUR IN SAIGON(B/-/-)

After breakfast, you will take an in-depth tour of the most interesting sites in Saigon City. Today’s experiences include the Cu Chi Tunnels afterwards there will be time for breaks and food or drinks (at your expenses) – The War Remnant MuseumReunification HallNotre Dame Cathedral and The Central Post office nearby – Ben Thanh Market. Eventually, return to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

DAY 12: SAIGON – COUNTRYSIDE ACTIVITIES IN BEN TRE (B/L/-)

Today you will take a drive on the countryside road towards Ben Tre. Upon arrival, you will: visit a brick factory – board a traditional style boat for a scenic cruise along the Mekong River – make some stops at local houses along the way – hope on bikes for a leisurely ride through the countryside – lunch in a traditional Mekong village restaurant – board a motorboat to explore more of the Mekong Delta. Eventually, return to the car for your transfer to Cai Be. The rest of the day is yours!

DAY 13: CAI BE FLOATING MARKET – TRANSFER TO SAIGON – FREE TIME AT OWN LEISURE (B/-/-)

Up early – breakfast – take a sampan ride on the river to visit the Cai Be floating market – pay visits to some families for an overview of the fascinating local cottage industries – transfer back to Saigon – time for breaks and food or drinks (at your own expenses) – onward travel to the airport for your departure flight.

DAY 14: SAIGON – DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

There will be some free time for you to relax or explore more of the city by yourself until transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
